flexibility and dependability.
Employers seem to be more
interested with what you have done with the talents
you have and not what talents you posses. Hence,
your resume should be a testimony of your accomplishments
rather than a catalogue of what you can do, or
what you are about to do.
Advice for those who are
starting their career is that portraying yourself
in an enterprising way will definitely give you
a competitive edge and for those building up their
career, a consistent management of resources,
time, inputs and outputs, high level of productivity
and efficiency will definitely make room for you.
Though the
weight of developing a successful career rests
heavily on the shoulder of the employee, employers
however need to create a workplace with a condition
that permit the body, mind and spirit to develop,
hence enabling the employee perform better and
also giving the employee the right to define a
balance between work, finance, family, relationships,
colleagues e.t.c.
